Add those three cheques up and the game has paid out $259,600 across nine finalists. That is an average of about $86,533 a season, or roughly 87 per cent of the money the players could theoretically have banked.
Who won The Traitors Canada Season 1?
Mike D'Urzo, a Toronto magician and mentalist, won the first season as a Traitor and took home $94,500. He sat across from Gurleen Maan at the final vote, convinced her he was Faithful, and kept the lot.
That $94,500 is still the show's high-water mark. It was also the cleanest possible proof of the format's central problem for Faithfuls: a good liar who survives to the end does not have to share.
Who won Season 2, and how much did the Traitors keep?
Neda Kalantar won the second season, also as a Traitor, with $72,000. Canadian reality watchers already knew her from Big Brother Canada, which made her a suspect from the first Round Table — and she still got to the end.
Her prize was the smallest of the three, about $22,500 below Season 1. The pot is built during missions, so a season with costly failures simply has less money in it by finale night, whoever wins.
Who won Season 3, and why was it a first?
Dom Gabriel and Hollywood Jade won the third season together, and both of them were Faithful. They split $93,100, with Lisette Sumbu — another Faithful — as runner-up.
It was the first time the Faithfuls had ever beaten the Traitors on the Canadian version. Two seasons of Traitors walking off with everything ended with a finale where the last three players were all telling the truth.
How does the prize money actually work?
Players build the pot during daytime missions, and it tops out at $100,000. At night the Traitors murder a Faithful; by day the group votes at the Round Table to banish whoever it suspects.
The endgame is the part that decides the cheque. If a Traitor is still standing when the game ends, that Traitor takes the whole pot; if the last players are all Faithful, they share it evenly. That is why Season 3's winners each got about $46,550 while Mike D'Urzo kept $94,500 on his own.
Season 4 is reported to add a twist to the banking: correctly banishing a Traitor puts another $10,000 into the fund. Bell Media's own premiere release does not spell that rule out, so treat it as unconfirmed until CTV shows it on screen.

Karine Vanasse hosts again — she has fronted all four seasons. Season 4 premieres Monday, 21 September 2026 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, with 22 players competing for up to $100,000 at a historic manor outside Montréal.
