Who won The Amazing Race Canada last night?

Tina and Liz Liao. The twins reached Jon Montgomery at the final mat first in the Season 12 finale, "Dai! Dai! Dai!", which aired Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.

Bell Media's own finale release and Wikipedia's season page agree on the order behind them: Eamon and Bec second, Michele and Matteo third. We flagged all three teams in our finale preview a few hours before the episode went to air.

How did the final leg play out?

The last leg carried the three teams out of Manitoba and into Alberta, where the Calgary Stampede grounds supplied the mid-leg tasks. Bell Media's release lists a reverse zip line paired with an oversized ring toss, then a showband challenge that asked racers to pick up a drumline routine.

The closer was a memory task tied back through every earlier leg of the season, which rewarded teams who had been paying attention since July. From there it was a run to the All Canada Ring at Spruce Meadows, the show-jumping grounds south of Calgary.

What did Tina and Liz win?

A $250,000 cash prize and a trip for two around the world, funded through Expedia travel credit, plus the Season 12 title.

The sisters credited a phrase they repeated all season, "trust your training," and leaned on careers in law and medicine when tasks got unfamiliar. "We only wanted to perform the best we could, so that we could be proud of ourselves," they said in CTV's finale release.

How did the final three do across the season?

By our count of the leg placings on the season's Wikipedia page, Tina and Liz led four of the nine legs before the finale, including the last two in a row. That was the steadiest run of anyone in the cast.

Eamon and Bec took two legs and never finished lower than sixth, which is why they were never truly in danger. Michele and Matteo grabbed the third finale spot by placing third in Manitoba, the leg that sent Winnipeg brothers Sacha and Sébastien Régnier home.

Where can I stream the finale in Canada?

Crave. Bell Media says the entire season is available there now, and the finale joined the library on Wednesday, Sept. 16, following its CTV broadcast.

Without a Crave subscription, CTV.ca and the CTV app carry episodes for anyone who signs in with a TV provider. Our Canadian streaming guide maps every show to a service, and sister site Watch Canada On Air tracks what lands on Crave each week.

What's next on Canadian reality TV?

Five days. The Traitors Canada starts Season 4 on Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. ET on CTV, a later slot than last season, and MasterChef Canada returns Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. ET.

Our week-ahead rundown has the day-by-day times, and the fall premiere calendar runs through December. CTV has also confirmed that Big Brother Canada comes back in 2027.

Frequently asked questions

Has Season 13 been announced?
Not yet. CTV's finale release says nothing about a renewal, and no casting call has been posted. Seasons 11 and 12 both ran July to September, so a summer 2027 run would fit the pattern.

Where was the finish line?
The All Canada Ring at Spruce Meadows, a 500-acre equestrian venue in south Calgary that hosts international show jumping.

Can I rewatch the whole season?
Yes. All of Season 12 sits on Crave, and the Amazing Race Canada section here covers the run.
